What process do you use to clean carpets?

Most of the carpet cleaning we do is the “Hot Water Extraction” method also known as “Steam Cleaning”. This is the preferred method of cleaning by most major carpet manufacturers.

How long does the carpet take to dry?

Normal drying time is 5 to 8 hours depending on the amount of soiling and outside humidity.

Is it best to put off cleaning asĀ  long as possible?

No the build up of soil in your carpet in combination with foot traffic creates abrasion that breaks down carpet fibers. Regular vacuuming of your carpet and scheduled professional cleaning will greatly extend the life of your carpet.

Does your cleaning process soak the backing of the carpet?

No, our process does clean deep down but the moisture will not penetrate the backing. With our powerful equipment your carpet will be thoroughly rinsed but left only damp to the touch.

How much does carpet cleaning cost?

Carpet cleaning cost can widely vary. Usually you get what you pay for. Everclean recommends getting at least 3 quotes before making a decision. Make sure all your questions are answered before committing to a company. Can all stains be removed?

A stain can be defined as a permanent discolouration. A stain has either added colour or removed colour from the carpet and has damaged the dyes. Regular cleaning will not restore them back to their original colour.

A spot can be defined as a soluble substance that can be removed with the cleaning process

Everclean will remove all spots and attempt to improve the appearance of stains.
